Secret Tip for Authors: Create an Amazon URL That Leads to ALL of Your Books

Secrets for writers

Secrets for writers

When you’re trying to get the word about your books it can quickly become confusing. This is especially true if you’ve published a lot of books in a series like I have. After all, every book has a different link on Amazon and that’s just too confusing for most people. And while you could just send them to your author page, sometimes you just want to send them straight to the product pages for your books.

You may be planning an advertising campaign, creating a Facebook or Instagram ad, or sending an email to your list. Whatever the reason, you want a link where people can see all of your books in one place.

I have just the thing you’ve been looking for.

Your Books on One Amazon Page: Here’s How

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to creating a link that takes people to all the books in your series.

·         Copy the ASIN’s of all of your books

·         Put them together in a string with the “|” symbol between them. Don’t include any other spaces. For example, mine looks like this: B01M0J5KZA|B01CTMI7R4|B01CTMI7R4|B07BN42M8L|B01N2RJJ5G|B01IFYIRX4|B07BML8FQW|B01HX058Y2|B0721GX342|B01NBA0J5S   (I didn’t include my foreign translations in this link, but you could if you wanted to.

·         Go to Amazon.com and enter the string in the search bar. Once it’s taken you to the page where your books appear, copy the link.

·         Go to bitly.com and input the Amazon link. It will shorten the extremely long link. Mine looks like this: https://amzn.to/2NQuEwW

Now you have a link to use in all of your written communications where people can find all of your book sales pages in one place. Pretty cool, huh?
